Pros and cons of Learn Arabic - Free WordPower app for iPhone and iPad

Learn Arabic - Free WordPower app good for

like me to consolidate his knowledge day after day by giving practical exemples, registered and available any time, moreover with corresponding pronunciation. Im using it everyday already two years. Many thanks to authors. JG France.
It is pretty good. I will probably buy the full version. The interface is confusing though. I like the word of the day.
I use it almost everyday! Полезная программа.
Im actually learning how to pronounce a lot but the words and phrases are so random that it will be months before i can hold a short useful conversation!
Very very good tool for learning! Really encourages you to check daily cause if you dont, you dont get to keep that days new word in you flashcard stack. Good push to check and keep learning. Also excellent pronunciation+ phonetic English spelling, and translation. Have Farsi and Arabic wordoftheday as well, and though all are GREAT to have (better than nothing FOR SURE), Spanish choice of words has been best so far. I just hate the ads in all :P wish theyd be less intrusive.
Love the play back and the fact you can record yourself and compare your voice to the native tongue.

Some bad moments

I ask a friend from Morocco what he thought about this app. He told me that the written was false, because the letters was not linked. Its like for apple you get A P P L E written on the interface. As a result you cannot recognize properly the word you study in a newspaper or on a web site. conclusion : absolutely useless. After I looked the other product of Innovative Language Learning, LLC I had to conclude that all their arabic products suffer the same problem !
There are a few mistakes and sometimes what is said doesnt match what is written. With the Russian version I have had a native speaker tell me some words are not used or are just plain wrong. Audio quality on some Arabic recordings are of lower quality. Need more words and complete number lists not just random numbers. Also alphabet pronunciation for all the languages would be ideal. Proof reading with a native English speaker would also correct the A / O mix ups with what is written and what it actually sounds like... Should be phonetic.
Application is pretty good. Easy to use and seems helpfull. Unfortunatelly i did not found egyptian arabic accent, as described. Only standard arabic and non egyptian pronounciation. Only 1 star because of misleading description.
Does not work with Voice Over glad it was free so I didnt waste my money on it!
Not at all what I expected. Plus, before I even got started if was trying to get me to upgrade. Very bad marketing ploy. I know it is free, but I feel tricked, and I would buy from someone who tried to trick me into a sale.
This was advertised as a way to learn Egyptian Arabic, which I need. But its classical Arabic instead. Love the set-up and ease of use. Unfortunately the actual vocabulary is of no use to me.
